*Note to parents of incoming 6th graders- Before entering 6th grade, students should receive both Tdap and Meningococcal, which is required by the state of Indiana to attend school.
*Note to parents of incoming 12th graders-Before entering 12th grade, students should receive his/her second dose of Meningococcal, which is required by the state of Indiana to attend school.

- If your child is vomiting, has diarrhea, or is running a fever of 100 degrees or higher, he/she MUST be vomit free, diarrhea free, and/or fever free without the use of medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
- If your child is diagnosed with pinkeye, he/she MUST provide a doctor's note to school and follow doctor's suggested return to school date based on diagnosis and treatment.
- If your child is diagnosed with strep throat, they MUST be on the prescribed antibiotic for a FULL 24 hours before returning to school. The 24 hour period begins when the first dose has been given.
- If your child is sick, please keep them home from school!

- If your child needs to take a prescribed medication during school hours, please contact the nurse for proper steps.
- Parent/Guardian is responsible for transporting all medications to and from school.
- Students are NOT to transport any medications to and from school.
- Parents may only bring a two-week supply of medication at a time for a prescribed daily medicine for their child.
- Parents dropping off medication must park, bring medication to office, and have it checked in.
- Stock over the counter medications are not available for student use. If a parent would like to leave over the counter meds at school for student, parent must bring in a new, unopened bottle/package to office and fill out appropriate paperwork.
