Dear Parents and Guardians,

This message is to inform you that Shenandoah Schools will operate on a virtual synchronous learning day for Thursday, January 29th.  Student instructions can be found here.

While road conditions across the county have continued to improve, there are still several areas that remain difficult for our buses to safely travel. In addition, our middle school experienced issues related to frozen and burst heating coils. This additional day will allow our maintenance staff the necessary time to ensure the building is fully prepared and safe for students and staff.

We recognize that multiple virtual learning days in a row can be challenging for families, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and willingness to adjust as we work through these circumstances.

We will communicate our plan for Friday as soon as possible.
